Facebook appears to have quietly swapped out its three-column layout for pages in favor of a cleaner, two-column look.

Steven Musil of CNET was one of the first to report on the new layout, and the Social Pro Daily Facebook page featured the new look Wednesday morning.

Facebook had not responded to multiple requests for comment at the time of this post.

Last August, the social network implemented a host of updates to pages on its flagship mobile applications with a focus on local businesses, including replacing the reviews section with a revamped recommendations section, giving calls to action more prominent placement and enabling pages to share Stories.
