Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired digital marketing and commerce agency Digital Evolution Group (DEG). DEG will partner with Isobar to become DEG, Linked by Isobar. The new offering is designed to help strengthen Dentsu Aegis’ growth strategy in the U.S. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The synergies between DEG’s and Isobar capabilities, and DEG’s depth of expertise in the Salesforce platform will ensure market-leading commerce solutions for our clients in the United States and beyond,” Isobar global CEO Jean Lin said in a statement. “We are extremely excited to welcome DEG to the Isobar global family.”
DEG’s management team will remain unchanged. CEO Neal Sharma will continue to lead the agency in the same role at DEG, Linked by Isobar, reporting directly to Isobar U.S. CEO Deb Boyda.

Founded in 1999, DEG is headquartered in Overland Park, Kan.,, with offices in Denver, Colo., Pittsburgh, Pa., and Des Moines, Iowa, and a satellite office in Manila, Philippines. Its client roster includes Purina, AMC Theaters, Fender Guitars, Hallmark and LVMH.
The move follows Dentsu Aegis Network’s October acquisition of business-to-business market research company B2B International, which it folded into global business-to-business agency gyro. Last month, Dentsu Aegis Network CEO Jerry Buhlmann announced he was stepping down, with executive chairman Tim Andree taking on the role.
