Facebook is premiering a new video series on its Facebook for Business page, Behind the Break, spotlighting how companies have used the social network’s marketing solutions to help scale their businesses.
The Success Stories videos will feature the companies, their products and offerings and their executives, and they will include tips for emerging businesses and “interesting anecdotes around early challenges and future ambitions.”
The first two companies to be featured on Behind the Break are online mattress company Purple and Smile Direct Club, which creates invisible dental braces for people.
The social network shared the following details on the first two installments:
Purple: When Purple entered the online mattress space in 2016, it was already a competitive industry with 90+ players. By leaning into Facebook and mobile-first video, it was able to differentiate its brand, create a following and supercharge its business. Its “Most Boring Video Ever Made” video won a Webby Award, and this year, it was the first disruptor to create customer video through the Anthology program, featuring Tim & Eric as “The Purple Boys.” As a result, it has set itself apart as one of the top mattress brands in an otherwise homogeneous space.
